I am lucky enough to have access to a private gym studio. It is just me and the client, all the necessary equipment and no mirrors. I also have access to a large outdoor space that I use to train clients when the weather allows. The advantage of having this space is the element of focus and privacy it allows, many do not enjoy the open forum of a commercial gym space which can be intimidating when starting out.
Though a majority of my clients are women and I specialise in Women's Health and Menopause Movement in particular, I love to work with anyone who is looking to move more, learn about how their body works and how to fuel it, build confidence and find something they love to do!
I train all my clients in person, not only does this allow me build a solid rapport with clients it also allows me to have a full view of their technique and make timely adaptations to how they move it also allows me to keep my costs down ensuring that the work I do is accessible as possible.
In addition to my own personal experiences, relevant Menopause Movement studies and other relevant qualifications I have been working with Menopausal women for the last 2-3 years. I am part of several organisations and have a broad network of contacts within the Health Care, Well-being and Fitness industry which allows me to sign-post clients to whatever they need to combat their symptoms in addition to helping them move.
1:1 or in small groups and depending on an individuals needs and abilities in the comfort of a private studio space. I work with people who have previously incorporated movement into their lifestyles but have subsequently stopped do to the impact of other factors. I work with people who are just starting out and looking for support, guidance and an increase in confidence in finding the movement they enjoy.
I offer three programme packages (see the 'How we can work together' section) ranging from single PAYG to full 12 week programmes to suit all needs.
Weight loss is a very personal journey. I can advise on Healthy nutritional options and help you gain a better understanding of your relationship with food using various tools and resources
100% I can! I didn't begin training or discover the type of physical activity/movement I really enjoyed until I was 36, and even then it took a while to really establish a routine and consistent approach to movement and nutrition. Everyone has to start somewhere and that starting point is individual to the person. I work with you to progress from where you are now to get to where you want to be.
